The moult asks a lot of a bird: building an entirely new plumage takes building blocks and energy. In young songbirds, the first moult weighs even heavier, because the body is still fully developing at the same time. Targeted support is then valuable to let the feather renewal run smoothly and to keep the general condition up to standard.

Our supplements are developed by our veterinarians, based on daily practice. For the moult, you work with a fixed combination of two products that complement each other.

Why two products together

Aminovital supplies the building blocks. It contains all the essential amino acids the bird needs for feather development and pigment formation, and additionally supports recovery and muscle repair.

Condi-Plus keeps the bird in condition and speeds up the moult: it supports the metabolism, provides extra energy and stimulates appetite, so that the bird keeps eating in a period when the need is high.

Together they cover the two sides of the moult: the build-up of the feather itself and the condition to sustain and accelerate that build-up.

How to use them

Throughout the entire duration of the moult:

Aminovital: 2 ml/l drinking water, 3 days per week
Condi-Plus: 2 ml/l drinking water, 3 days per week

Both may be given together in the same drinking water.
